April Hawley

"Addiction, death, divorce, depression, debt, you name it and honestly I've been through it. I've lived most of my life on a real Jerry Springer show-just a live version of it.

My addiction started when I was 12 and lasted for the next 18 years. When I turned 30 I was hit with a phone call from DHS that would change the direction of not only my life but my kids’ lives too."

Scholarship recipient April Hawley documents her journey from addict to transformational coach.

Kristen Meeter

"After 11 years in the corporate retail world, I did what no first-born Enneagram #6 human EVER does: quit my quickly-advancing career without a plan. I found myself with a desire to pave my own entrepreneurial path, and a soul-nagging passion to create a life of meaning for myself and those around me.

I also had a life chapter I wanted to redeem. I mean, that all sounds like a top-notch business plan ready for action, right?! (Ok maybe not.)"
